Had a jog last night to KNC and back. Was struggling a bit and it took longer than expected. After reaching KNC, I help umpired a friendly game before jogging back. The whole thing was pretty tiring. Still feeling the aches and sores now. But this will not stop me. Next up, 'East Coast Park'. On the way to KLP today, I saw a naked man near stadium. Something must be wrong with him. Anyway, I went to watch a movie before going KNC for duty as umpire coach for the day. Night at the museum 2. Not as good as expected though. Umpire coaching was ok. Couldn't really help to look at all 3 courts at one time. And most of them are not so experienced too. Haiz... And I've been hearing comments from coaches about umpiring recently. The usuals! Comments from coaches are never good. As an umpire coach now, I feel that it's part of my responsibility when umpires are not umpiring to standard. But what to do?

Do you know what is 'goldfish breathing'?

I was experiencing it today umpiring Opens vs 21s game. I was breathing so hard I can't close my mouth. Lucky it only happens at the 6th quarter, which is the last. Feel so weak umpiring their game. Think I should start doing some strengthing for my sprints and side steps. Push off was a bit slow too.

Long time didn't blog.

Very unlucky today. Lost my bag at KNC. Everything was inside. My umpire whistles, first aid kit, phone, mp3, wallet, money, sunglass,... Total up 500+ cash and 600+ in property. Was pretty sad about it but now, not anymore.

My mum came to Singapore today. Not at home now but instead at a buddhist camp with her friend. Anyway, I never get to see her cause was at KNC whole day for my club's training camp. She made some dumplings for me and my sis. It's so nice. I'm so happy she made them. And she've also brought some dried food over for me from home :) Hope I get to see her after camp, before she go home.

Past few weeks was busy. Rosyth lost their crucial game by 3 goals in the second round. With it, losing their chance of going Nationals. I was pretty disappointed.

NSL umpiring in the semi and prelim final was exciting. Both games were very close. I was waiting for assignment to get into final but till friday night finally know that I'm not even the reserve umpire. Yet again disappointed after so much effort into it. Well! Just have to face the fact and come back stronger.

Hmm... Club stuffs are... Maybe shouldn't talk about it. I appreciate the friends I have in the club.

Work. Slowing down in May and June. Will have to umpire more to earn more income. What can I do if I don't coach?
