Do you know what is 'goldfish breathing'?
I was experiencing it today umpiring Opens vs 21s game. I was breathing so hard I can't close my mouth. Lucky it only happens at the 6th quarter, which is the last. Feel so weak umpiring their game. Think I should start doing some strengthing for my sprints and side steps. Push off was a bit slow too.

Long time didn't blog.
Very unlucky today. Lost my bag at KNC. Everything was inside. My umpire whistles, first aid kit, phone, mp3, wallet, money, sunglass,... Total up 500+ cash and 600+ in property. Was pretty sad about it but now, not anymore.
My mum came to Singapore today. Not at home now but instead at a buddhist camp with her friend. Anyway, I never get to see her cause was at KNC whole day for my club's training camp. She made some dumplings for me and my sis. It's so nice. I'm so happy she made them. And she've also brought some dried food over for me from home :) Hope I get to see her after camp, before she go home.
Past few weeks was busy. Rosyth lost their crucial game by 3 goals in the second round. With it, losing their chance of going Nationals. I was pretty disappointed.
NSL umpiring in the semi and prelim final was exciting. Both games were very close. I was waiting for assignment to get into final but till friday night finally know that I'm not even the reserve umpire. Yet again disappointed after so much effort into it. Well! Just have to face the fact and come back stronger.
Hmm... Club stuffs are... Maybe shouldn't talk about it. I appreciate the friends I have in the club.
Work. Slowing down in May and June. Will have to umpire more to earn more income. What can I do if I don't coach?

Had my first basketball training this year today. It was really killing. Almost have muscle cramp. And few of my teamates did. The team had started training last month every sunday and tuesday. Because of NSL, I've been missing training till now. I really miss playing basketball, and tonight was really fun. Although my shots was like so bad and passes like every where. Anyway, I'm looking forward to wednesday's friendly game. Suppose to go beep test that night but I'm going to skip it. Haha!
Good news, my Rosyth seniors got into second round. And the grouping was so so lucky. Hope the girls can play well and get into nationals. First game of second round tomorrow. Must win!

It has been busy for the past few weeks. Had to wake up early in the morning everyday.
The primary school zonal had started. Coral had lost their first two games. Rosyth juniors have a win and a lost. Last game to play tomorrow for the first round. But not likely to go to second round. Rosyth seniors had a close game last friday. Down by two goals after the first quarter. Draw at half time and down by one after third. Lucky manage to win by four goals in the end. Two more games to go. Must win the game tomorrow.
Didn't have much improvements on my NSL umpiring this week. Many details to work on. Vision, Position, Terminology, Voice, Presentation...
Result for my poly application will be out tomorrow. I really don't know weather should I go back to study. I'll leave it to fate.

How long...
I'm still Ouching!!! with every steps I make now. Blisters, please heal before sunday.
Contiki beach netball last week was fun. But a bit dissapointed with the unlucky lost my team had. It's all destined to end this way I think. Other than the lost, I've also brought home blisters. All 3 of them on the same foot. The big one is almost as big as my thumb. Painful to the max...
I'm loosing passion coaching lately. My Hougang B girls only manage to win a match. The C girls lost all their matches with single digit score. My Coral pri is so not ready for the coming zonal. And Rosyth still have so many things to tidy up on their game. The only thing I enjoy is coaching Kidznet. It's fun playing with p3 kids. But sometime it's hard to keep 30 of them organise and in order.
NSL started 2 weeks ago. The first game I did wasn't up to my expection. Abit too tense. Second game was worst. Couldn't get my timing. Hope this weekend is a better one.
I'm an uncle now. My brother's wife gave birth to a baby boy earlier this week. When can I see my nephew?

My Hougang girls cried after their game yesterday. I'm really heart broken. I felt that I've disappoint her more than her own disappointment. I've failed to get them ready for the tournament. I've failed to keep the team together. Many quited near the tournament. I've failed so so much. What can I do? The damage is there. One more training before the last game. What should I do? How?
Wednesday morning was another disappointment. My Coral girls played against their seniors and was totally lost in the game. They don't even know what they need to do at all. What happened??? Only a few more weeks to their tournament and they play like this. Ahhrrr...
Training today was alot better with a different approach. At least they've shown me that they can play and know what they need to do on court. Hope they don't forget it.

What you did on Vday?
I earned 120 bucks from umpiring and went home after to avoid the crowd. Roses, couples...
Umpired again today. Went home and went out again after. Got a wall fan for the empty wall I had for weeks. Was a bit hot these few days. The wind had stopped blowing suddenly. I've also got a Coleman termo water bottle while shopping. It's definately gonna be useful for hot days.
Looking at my schedule, more busy weeks ahead.

I better give my blog CPR before it dies.
Hi everyone. I came back to Singapore last night. Went home for CNY and it was ok. A bit bored at home actually. Nothing much to do except eat, drink, sleep and watch tv. I planned to train up my stamina but didn't do any runs at all. I'll definately struggle umpiring NSL. Ahhh..... And it's starting end of this month. Ahhhhhh..... x1000. So scary. And there's another beep test for umpires next week. Ahhhhhhhhh.....
It's already February now. Time is flying faster than superman... When I was home, I went to my secondary school classmate's wedding dinner. Get to see so many of my old friends. Many had married and have a family. Time really flies... Seeing them having a partner, having kids, so happy.
I'm paying alot of attention to kids recently. I donno why. I just love playing with them. Yesterday morning before I came back, I was playing with 'Ru Ru', the child my mum is taking care of for every Sunday. It was really fun. She likes to ask questions and talk alot. And full of imaginations when she play with her toys. But too bad I had to leave before noon. Couldn't spend more time with her.
Took SQ back last night. Was so tired but didn't sleep on the plane. Some funny things happened. At least I think it's funny. After landing and immediately after seatbealt sign was off, everyone got up and hurried with their luggages. Standing like ten minutes before they get to move off the plane. Why are they doing this? I was just sitting there, waiting for the crowd to clear, get my backpack and move off. Went to the toilet after that and saw everyone queing at the immigration counter. And when I was at the counter, no que already. The crowd is now at the lugguage belt. I went to the other end where there's less crowd while most of them are still waiting and I think the lugguge had just came out. So lucky, immediately after I stop walking, I saw my luggage. I was the first few out of the arrival hall. Funny isn't it. Why are people so KiaSu?
Today was a long day. Went to school at eleven in the morning to meet my girls to go RP together for their game at one. They lost. No surprise. Umpired two games after that till five. Then went NUS to umpire their IHG game and then to CCAB for coaching. So tiring... I think I better sleep now.
